Portland, March 16.—Cœur d’Alene miners, assembled in mass meeting at Eagle City, Idaho, have resolved to exclude from that mining section all Chinamen who may try to dig or wash for gold, and to hang them should any be rash enough to attempt it.
Chinese laundrymen and cooks will, however, be permitted in the camps.
