Owing to domestic affliction, Coroner Reeves is unable to leave the city, and he therefore to-day sent word to Justice Cole, of Granite Township, requesting him, if he had not already done so, to hold an inquest on the body of the Chinaman who was hanged in the vicinity of Prairie City a day or two ago.

Since writing the above the Coroner has heard that Justice Cole held the inquest yesterday, and the Chinaman has been buried.
