LYNCH LAW AT SUTTER CREEK.—Last Monday a Chinaman was arrested near Sutter Creek, charged with stealing $45 from the drawer of Tucker & Tibbitts, on the Jackson road. Judge Lynch, having become satisfied of John’s guilt, prescribed twenty-five lashes on the bare back, which were duly administered.
